A small restaurant directory with a rule: every entry traces to an award, a published source or the restaurant itself. Here is who is behind it and the standards it is held to.
Local Food Near Me is published by Eye To Ad Media, a Denver search marketing agency operating since 2012 under Search Converts LLC, at 1001 Bannock St #660, Denver, CO 80204. The same team writes city restaurant guides, including the Colorado award register, the Denver guide and Restaurant Honolulu, which is where most of this directory’s records come from.
The site has two jobs. It explains, with named research, how people actually decide where to eat. And it runs a searchable directory that currently holds 183 restaurants in Colorado and Oʻahu, Hawaii.
Colorado records come from the MICHELIN Guide Colorado 2026 selection and James Beard Foundation recognition. Oʻahu records come from the Restaurant Honolulu dataset, where every open restaurant is checked against at least two published sources and dated, and closed places are moved off the open list. Each search result links to its sources and shows the date it was last checked.
We do not copy ratings or review counts from other websites, and we do not publish opening hours or phone numbers we have not confirmed. States we have not compiled are left empty, and the search says so, rather than filled with guesses.
Nothing invented. No made-up listings, reviews, prices or awards. If we cannot source it, it does not go on the page.
Paid is labelled. Featured listings are paid or included with our marketing work, and are marked Featured wherever they appear. Advertising, including ads served by Google, is labelled and kept apart from directory results. Nobody can buy search position or a place in the awarded tier.
Corrections first. If a record is wrong, a correction goes ahead of any new listing, and there is no charge for either. Use the contact page.
Research is cited. Consumer figures come from BrightLocal’s 2026 surveys and search volumes from Google Keyword Planner, named beside each figure.
Photos are representative. Food photographs on this site are licensed stock images from Pexels. They show the kind of dish, not a dish from any listed restaurant.
No. Results are ordered by tier and then alphabetically, and the awarded tier simply records what the MICHELIN Guide and the James Beard Foundation have published. Payment buys a labelled featured listing, never position.
